Guys, get yourselves ready to smile! Seriously, I adoreADOREadore this family!

Julie is my sister’s awesome friend and over the years I’ve gotten to know her and we’ve become really close as well. Julie, my sister Allie, and I all had babies within a few weeks of each other. They were all girls, and they are all currently driving us nuts with the terrible twos. Although of the three, Julie’s Avery is probably the sweetest (she’d probably tell you different).

Getting to photograph Avery over the years has been so amazing. First of all, Avery loves me. And that makes my job that much easier. But also, there is something to special about watching this family grow. I got to photograph Julie + her husband Bud’s marriage, Avery as a newborn, and then again at a year old and now two. These guys are so full of happy, and I love capturing that for them.

Now, onto the photos…

 

Try as I might, I couldn’t get photographs of Avery without her fingers in her mouth. But then, Julie and Bud said that she does this all the time when she’s acting shy, so I didn’t mind one bit. I want to photograph littles how they are, so that you can look at your photographs and say “yup, that’s my baby”.

 

Gah, how cute are they?!?!
