The Rogers Family – North Jersey Family Photographer

What can I say about about Trish’s lovely family – her sweet husband, and twin boys – other than I totally love them!

Trish worked with my sister Allie back before Allie and her husband, Jay, moved back to South Jersey. When Trish contacted me through Facebook about photographing her family, I immediately asked Allie all about her – “what was she like?” “what should I expect?”, etc, etc, etc.

Allie immediately told me that I would love Trish, that she reminded her of one of the Ciocias (our totally awesome Aunts) – laid back, warm, and welcoming. Once I walked in to Trish’s house, I knew that my sister was right. She instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. And it wasn’t just forced niceties – I really felt like I had known her for years. I wanted to hug her after about 5 minutes!

All of these qualities makes for one awesome momma. She is nurturing and patient, loving and comforting. She knows and loves her boys completely, but was never once overbearing. She let them roam and explore, hanging back so that the three of us (Owen, Mitchell and I) could hang out and play by the water.

I’m happy to say that Trish is a client and now, a friend. And by the way, I did end up giving her that hug.
