Has it really almost been a year since our trip to Montreal? It seems like it was just yesterday that we were traipsing through the streets, browsing through the shops, yelling francophone to each other – well, okay.. the last one was probably just Yng and I. But still, a year?
Life has certainly changed since then. I had no idea I was, or was soon to be, pregnant. Swirling around the pool, we had conversations about who would be the first to have a baby. We all exclaimed “not I!”, rather forcefully. I may have been the most forceful. Life a year ago was about getting my photography business in order – it was about finally doing it. And no baby was going to stop me. Fast forward almost a year later and I’m still doing it, albeit much slower, but still. Every day I’m moving forward.
This trip was about marking our ten year friendship. It was full of laughter, tears (losing my wallet!), strippers, bike rides, farmer’s markets, wandering, good food and lots of fun. And here’s the proof (almost) one year later!
