I’ve known Jill for a few years now. She is friends with one of my very dear friends/college roommates. Jill and Christie grew up on the same street and have been best since they were really young. Most stories that Christie would tell from her past usually involved Jill, so I heard her name many times throughout the years. But it wasn’t until Jill moved to Philadelphia from California to work on her PhD in psychology that I really got to spend a lot of time with her, and her fiance Sil. Both Jill and Sil are super laid back people who are tons of fun and always up for anything, so I was really excited when she asked me if I’d take some engagement photos for her.
They didn’t have a specific place in mind, so we just made our way through Old City stopping at any place that we thought looked interesting. We also made sure to bring their dog, noodles, along for the ride as he’s a very important part of their life. Considering that I’m convinced that my dogs are my children, I completely understood. And noodles was so well-behaved!
We started out outside of their apartment and then made our way down a side alley.
Then I found some ivy and made them stop, cause I am OBSESSED with ivy.
We ended up in Christ Church Park at Jill’s suggestion, and I’m so glad we did as these ended up being some of my favorite photos.
And I’ll end this post with my favorite of them. They are just so happy & in love!
