Get ready for the sweetest April wedding ever!

Jess & Jake are one of the sweetest couples ever. They are both incredibly laid back. They wanted their wedding to be an event that everyone could enjoy – which is why they split their cocktail hour up in the middle: they had a 1/2 of cocktails, then they had the ceremony, then right back into cocktails. It was kind of amazing – and all of their guests were incredibly happy.

These two were a dream to photograph – totally listened to everything I wanted to do, and so super in love that I couldn’t take a bad photograph. I also couldn’t have shot this wedding day nearly as well without my amazing second shooter Joy. Joy is as talented as she is sweet and I loved spending the day with her. Jess looked so classic, from her gorgeous dress, to her beautiful hair and simple yet elegant jewelry. LOVE.

After dinner, we headed out for a few shots at sunset. It was incredibly COLD, but these two were troopers. I’m so happy we went out there.
