Jenna + Chris // Abbie Holmes Estate Wedding

Oh, this wedding! Well, let’s just say that not only are Jenna + Chris the most adorable couple, but they’ve got some mad style too. Jenna warned me that her wedding would be heavy DIY, and boy was it ever. In fact, it was THE CUTEST DIY that ever existed. Everything had a personal and beautiful touch from Jenna + Chris, and I absolutely loved photographing all of it!

In addition to all the pretty stuff, there was lots of really awesome people too. The bride + groom obviously, but also their entire families and friends. Every one was so warm and inviting, I felt like family on this wedding day or as if I was photographing for my good friend. Add to that the quaint elegance of the Abbie Holmes Estate, and it was was a beautiful, intimate and special day. You’ll see what I mean in a minute..

Moments after their first look. Seriously, how cute are these two? There was SO much smiling, even I was smiling behind my camera.

A girl and her Marm. One of my most treasured photographs from my own wedding is a photograph of me and my grandmother. Everything about how happy she was to see me as a bride is in that photograph, and it makes me so happy to deliver images like that to my clients.

 

The new Mr. & Mrs. Burke! I told you there was a lot of HAPPY!

 

I also stole them away for a few more portraits, just as the sun was dipping behind the horizon.
