This wedding had the biggest bridal party I’ve photographed to date (13 on each side, plus the bride and groom) AND there was a 75% chance of rain. ALL DAY LONG. We had no backup indoor location and it was cold. And I, ever the worrier, was obsessing about where we would go, puddles, dirt, etc, while telling my bride not to worry. Because at the end of the day, brides SHOULDN’T worry. They have enough things to think about without adding an unpredictable and uncontrollable thing like the weather to the list.
The thing is though, she WASN’T worried. I never once heard a whisper of anxiety in her voice. Heather was calm, collected and cool. And she trusted me. Which made my job that much easier.
And then, like magic, the rain subsided and the sun came out.
My fabulous second shooter, Ardita of Ardita Kola Photography, was off photographing the boys. She was so great to work with!
Marriage time!
I seriously have about 7 images of Mike walking down the aisle shaking everyone’s hands as he passes. Mike the Mayor!
Heather requested a pitstop to get a photograph of the whole wedding party in front of their house.I love when I get to incorporate something to special in to wedding photographs!
Heather + Mike – thank you so much for letting me share your beautiful wedding day with you! I adore you both, and wish you nothing but happiness, love and luck. Xo.
