Gianna + Andrew // NJ Engagement Photographer

Meet Gianna + Andrew and their two SUPERCUTE pups, Darla & Bruce. I pretty much die when my couples want to bring their dogs along to shoots, cause I’m kiiiiiiinnnd of obsessed with photographing dogs. But then you add in the people names for the dogs, and I melt. I mean, it’s just the cutest thing ever to call an animal Bruce – is it not?!?!

These two were total naturals, even though Gianna will probably tell you otherwise. But not only were they ridiculously in love, but they also laughed at themselves. That’s the key people, don’t take yourselves too seriously. Don’t take the process too seriously. It’s all about fun!!

We headed to a park just a two minute walk from their apartment. Meet the cute little family!

There was so much laughing at this session that is was contagious.

 

Is Gianna not the CUTEST, ever? And look at how smitten Andrew is with her. It was incredibly sweet.

 

Can we just take a second to talk about Gianna’s fabulous shoes? I was obsessed. This isn’t the best shot of Andrew’s kicks, but they were also fabulous. I may or may not have asked him where he got them so that I can buy my husband a pair..

 

I love those moody shots. My favorite.

 

And then we took one last shot in front of their apartment. I like to try to incorporate an aspect of my clients’ home when I can. This is where Gianna + Andrew started their life together, where Gianna arranged those pots on the ledge to look just so and tended to each and every single plant. And one day they might not live here. Their jobs, or space will have forced them to move. But this house is what started it all.

 

Gianna + Andrew! Thank you both SO much for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives. I had the absolute best time, and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year! xo, Lauren
