I knew from the beginning that Gary + Barbara’s wedding was going to be awesome. Gary and Barbara talked about the day with such enthusiasm and love – both for each other and for the actual day. And, it definitely did not disappoint! When I showed up to the Lambertville Station Inn, I was greeted by a super chipper Barbara, which is saying a lot because it was 6:00 AM! She was already so excited for the day, excited for the first look, and excited to see me and my second shooter Meg. And the day only got better from there. Don’t believe me? Well, take a look.. You’re definitely gonna wanna get ready to smile at this wedding!
First up is Barbara’s gorgeous dress! Meg and I took it down to the water and hung it on the tree. It only seemed fitting that we photographed it with the bridge behind it since Gary is a bridge engineer.
Here’s our beautiful bride! And how cute is she?! Her face when she saw herself was just amazing!
Meanwhile, my second shooter Meg was off photographing the guys. I could not have done it without Meg! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she was totally peppy and ready to go all day. Having a second shooter is invaluable at times!
First look anticipation. These moments are always some of my favorite on a wedding day..
We were a little behind schedule and our original plan was to take the entire bridal party to this woodsy area, but we decided to scrap that idea. However, Gary and Barbara were still totally in to going to the woods, and I’m so glad that they did. They braved spiders and grass, and honestly they were so amazing about it! These are some of my favorites..
Back at Lambertville, we started photographing the bridal party. How stunning are Barbara’s bridesmaids?!
Another Meg shot! This was the best! The guys kept chanting Gar-y Sor-kin, and it made for a pretty epic photo!
The bride and her dad. I love moments like these.
After the Ketubah is signed, it’s ceremony time!
Barbara had the most beautiful centerpieces. The whole day was flawless..
The hora! One of my favorite parts of the wedding day festivities..
Another example of why it’s so great to have a second shooter! I was to the side of them and after getting the shots I could, I looked over to see Meg right in the money spot! This part of the dance is short lived, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it through the crowd to get there, but luckily Meg was right there ready to go. This shot is one of my favorites!
Gary + Barbara – I had the best time at your wedding. Everything was perfect, including you two and all of your families and friends. I wish you all the love and happiness in the world! xo, Lauren
