Friends, meet baby Lucas. The newest addition to this incredibly sweet family, and one of my favorite clients. I got to meet all of his squishy goodness last week. THOSE CHEEKS. Come on.

This is Shannon, Lucas’ mama. She’s sweet + calm + warm. You’re at ease in her presence. And as a mama, she shines. The love she has for her boys is incredibly special to watch.

 

This guy! Oh, Jacob. You have my heart little guy. I photographed this babe when he was as tiny as Lucas is + I loved being able to come back and photograph his sweet face again.

 

This shot is a perfect example of why I love photographing in client’s home, rather than just in a pretty field somewhere. Here Jacob is is his room, with his binky, covering it up with his shirt like his mama always says he does when he’s tired. There is something so special about photographing little ones as they are.

These last few photographs are without Lucas and were just as I was packing up to leave. Jacob ran over to the door to watch their dog playing outside, something his mama says he always does. The light was so pretty, I just couldn’t leave. And then we got some portraits of mama + her first born, her first little love.
