The Conner & Dromsky Families

Denise found me through Maggie, she had seen the photographs I took of Maggie’s daugher Leah and had contacted me to photograph her family. I just love referrals like that, it shows how connected you are to people that you never would have known otherwise.

Denise explained that she was looking for photographs of her whole family (husband, son, mom, dad and her brother and his family). Most of my work shows couples or just kids, so she wanted to make sure that I was comfortable shooting a group that size. In my experience, more people in a photo shoot definitely make it a little more chaotic but it also makes it so much more fun! I love being able to photograph all of the different personalities coming together – teasing each other, laughing with each other and loving each other.

And Denise’s family did not disappoint! Everyone was warm and friendly and happy to be with each other. Aunt Diana kept the kids laughing, and come to think of it, the adults too..
