The Zimmer Family

These two lovebirds asked me to photograph their wedding, and then I got the pleasure of photographing their new addition this May.

I couldn’t be happier for these two and their little family. Julie and Bud went to high school together, but were a few years apart and didn’t really know each other. Fast forward to ten years later, and they ran in to each other while out with friends. A night full of talking turned in to a few dates, and then in to a new relationship.

Both Julie and Bud each had their own dogs prior to dating, so no one could’ve prepared them for the confusion (and hilarity) that was to ensue when they got together. Julie’s dog, a pug mix, is also named Bud. You can imagine the sideways stares when Julie would say things like “Bud won’t stop jumping”, “Bud chews on my shoes”, “Bud peed on the rug”. They’ve since distinguished the two by referring to the pug mix as “dog Bud”.

They decided to make this little clan of 4 official on a beautiful fall day.

 

 

This happy little family of four wasn’t complete though until little miss Avery joined them in May of this year.
