Stef & Chris – NJ Engagement Photographer

With their wedding coming up in just a few short days, I thought it would be the perfect time to blog Stef & Chris’s engagement session!

When Stef told me that she’d really like to do photographs in the snow, I couldn’t have been happier. Rarely do you get a client who is so willing to do something out of the ordinary – usually, as the photographer, I have to do a lot of convincing. And, who can blame my clients? Trekking around in the snow is uncomfortable – it’s a lot of work, and you’re trying to look cute in a big coat. You’re cold, and then in an instant you’re hot. On second thought, that last one might have just been me since I was about 6 months pregnant at the time.

In any case, Stef and Chris were SUCH troopers. Not once did they complain. And Chris had plenty of reason to, considering Stef was making him take a second set of engagement photographs! They had previously gotten photographs done, but since it’s part of my package (and a great way for us to get to know each other before the big day) they opted to do them again. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Chris had already gotten Stef to agree to a snow fight at the end of our session and ending up getting his revenge.
