What’s better than Brooklyn in the springtime? Madeline + Matt in Brooklyn in the springtime!

I was lucky enough to shoot their gorgeous Prospect Park Picnic House wedding, and let me tell you the day did not disappoint. It was a mix of gorgeous details, and fantastic people, and Madeline + Matt were in the center of it all.

First up, a few details! Fun fact: the quilt underneath was made by Matt’s Grandmom, and the map invitation was drawn by Madeline’s incredibly talented mama!

Seriously, how cute is she? Everyone was SO excited to see her in her badass leather coat.

She’s gorgeous, yes, but she’s also a ham and that’s why I adore her. Oh, and Matt! You’re pretty cute yourself!

Spring has Sprung, my friends!

Madeline had her eyes at Matt and her mama (in the corner there) the whole time. It was so sweet.

Dad’s crying is right up there in things that made me lose it at a wedding..

MARRIED!!

Sometimes a huge balloon blows through the family formals..

Both Madeline + Matt’s parents each made a speech and they were all so touching. Can we make this a thing? Cause it was pretty perfect.

And then they danced ALL NIGHT LONG..

And they laughed..

Lovebirds.

They ended the night with “California Love” by 2Pac (feat Dr. Dre) which was my favorite thing ever because 1) I love that song, and 2) these crazy kids live in California and it was the best little tie in ever.

 

Madeline + Matt, thank you so much for inviting me into your lives and trusting me with your most precious memories. I absolutely adore you both and am so grateful that our paths crossed. xo, Lauren
